I appreciate everyone who showed up for the first Colloquium. I hope everyone is inspired to read the Fourth Turning and continue learning about our great country and heritage. Please share what you learned with your friends and family and invite them to join us next month. I realized after the meeting that we had someone from each generation represented. It should be an interesting conversation next month. I could use some feedback about how the discussion went so I can continue to serve you better. There has been some interest in hearing more history, if you are interested in this let me know. Any ideas for how I can improve the group will be appreciated. Thanks again.

The Fourth Turning

Next months book will be the Fourth Turning, William Strauss and Neil Howe. The Fourth Turning is an historical look at the cycles of history. It talks about how history effects the generations and the generations repeat history. It is an interesting look at how we as citizens can be aware of what we do can effect the future and what has happened can effect us. I hope every one enjoys it. First meeting

We are excited about our first meeting on the 27th. I hope everyone is finding the time to complete their readings. Remember to share what you learn with your friends, neighbors and especially your children. We have sold all 16 copies of the 5000 year leap books that we had available and will most likely be ordering a few more for those who still want to get them for $6.
If you still need a book let me know as soon as possible so I can get them ordered in time for you to read it. You will also want to start looking at getting the books for the next month. I have provided quick links to purchase them. Don't be afraid to try to find them cheaper somewhere else. Let me know if the blog is useful and if you have any suggestions for it tell me.
